It's been so long where could I be?
Has it been so long that you're forgetting me?
Do you remember my smile, my laugh and my giggle?
Do you remember my walk, my dance and my wiggle?
Do you remember my baby steps, spit-ups and drool?
Do you remember my first day of going to school?
Do you remember when I said "I love you"?
Do you remember that you said it too?
Not one of these things has changed in your mind
So look deep in your heart and you will find
I'm with you in memories so share them each day
And listen to God when you pray
He'll tell you I'm flying with angels by night
That I am the sunbeams giving you light
He'll tell you he loves me and please don't cry
Because I am God's angel up here in the sky
I am at peace, happy and free as a dove
The only thing missing is my family to love.
